Well Life Just Got A Little More Interesting!

So I wanted to take some time to give an Update on the Lives of the Orchards.

Gonna Back Date just a little. Over the past few weeks Justin has been extra sweet in sending me Flowers to work. End of December I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. And I was stressed out. I had to meet with a Dietitian and Justin wasn't able to go with me. So he sent me flowers.

Then on January 13th. I was at work and received these: He told me it was just cuz he could. How Sweet!

We finally got our Crib and Changing Table / Dresser. So Justin Started putting those together.

So anyways that next day I got this really crazy nesting thing going on. I had to get the quilt for the crib and the pillows and the wall decorations done. It was driving me crazy.

I couldn't believe that I got it all done. I work really hard and was so proud of my finished ( well almost finished ) nursery.

On January 20th. I met with my Doctor - Dr. Klomp for my last bi-weekly appointment. I had hit 36 weeks. Justin had to Work so Mom came with me. Previously I had weighed 148. At this appointment I had lost weight. I was 146.4. Now Since the beginning of my pregnancy ( with the weight loss ) I had at this point only gained 6 lb's. Crazy right? Yeah! The Doctor said not to be concerned. He told me as he did at my previous appointment that the Baby was head down - which was good. During the pelvic he got a funny look on his face. He told me that I was already dilated to 2 cm. I asked if I should be concerned. He told me no. That I could be dilated at a 2 for weeks. Since I had 4 weeks to go I said ok.

After the Appointment I dropped my mom back off at work and went home and did the weekly House cleaning. Justin got home from work and we debated for about an hour on what and where we wanted to go for dinner. We finally settled on Golden Corral - since I could find many things that I would be allowed to eat on the special diet that I was put on for the Gestational Diabetes. We got there and started eating dinner. We joked around with our waitress who was also expecting. We both got up to go get seconds and as I grabbed my new plate I felt a WHOOSH of water. Now me being one of those Ladies that had major bladder issues, I thought "Oh Man - I just wet my pants " but then I freaked out and though there was no way I tinkled that much. So I handed my plate to Justin and told him I'd be right back. I ran to the restroom. Where I continued to feel like I was leaking badly. " OH CRAP - MY WATER JUST BROKE " I cleaned up the best I could and exited the rest room and told Justin we needed to go. He gave me a funny look. I told him my water just broke. He didn't believe me. I said "We NEED to go" So we paid and left. Luckily I had a towel in the car. I laid it on the seat and sat down. I called my doctor's office and they told me to go to the Hospital and check in with Labor and Delivery. I started freaking out. I was too early. I had 4 weeks to go. We get to the hospital and expecting it to be a false alarm the nurse got a hold of my doctor and is told to do a ultrasound and also check to make sure my water did actually break. So she does. Sure enough my water had broken. Only problem - Baby is breech. "Wait WHAT? No that can't be. He was head down this Morning." So I'm told congrats - that I'm having the baby today ( or on the 20th ) bad news it's via C-Section since the baby is breech. By this time it's after 4pm Friday afternoon. So I call my mom and Sommer answer's I tell her that I'm at the hospital and that if they want to be there when little Orchard Arrives they better head there NOW. She doesn't believe me. After several minutes she finally get's my mom. I repeat everything. Dr. Klomp then comes in and tells me that I will be prepped for surgery and the baby should be delivered with in the hour. He tell's me that that morning he had noticed the baby was not head down but breech but didn't want to worry me since I had 4 weeks to go. I was prepped for surgery and . . .

Little Myles J Orchard was born on January 20th at 5:42pm. He weighed 4 lb's and 13 ounces. He was 18½ inches long, and He was definitely a boy!

He is so precious. At 4 weeks early he was doing great. The only thing that was not PERFECT was he had a little jaundice. We were at the Hospital till the following Tuesday where I was able to recover from the C-Section and be there to nurse Little Myles. They sent us home. We had to go in everyday for a blood test to check his jaundice levels. Come Friday they made us rent a bili-blanket for us to put him on at home. He is doing well and is now off the blanket.

So Stewie ( our Jack Russel / Mix ) has taken on the role of Protector. He loves little Myles and wants to be where he is.

Jaz is still unsure of Little Myles. She's starting to warm up and will sniff him but then keeps her distance most the time.

This is Myles at 1 Week old. He's so little.

He's my little Monkey - However the way He likes to curl up makes me call him my little Turtle.

It's crazy to think that it's been 10 days since Myles joined our Family. It feels like he's been here longer than that. And While I am still recovering from the C-Section and not allowed to do too much - he is such a joy. We love him so very much. It's true - you just take one look at him and are instantly in love.

Justin/Daddy just loves his little guy. I love watching him hold Myles.

Our Lives have been changed forever. But it has been changed for the good.

Just for if you are intersted. This is a Video that Justin took of our first night home from the Hospital. Forgive My indecency - I'm wearing a Nursing Tank top under the blanket I promise. But it's so sweet to see how it's been with Baby Myles and the puppies.

Yup That's Right!

So We Are EXPECTING!

Our First Little Baby! We are so excited.

Our Little Myles J Orchard will be Arriving February 2012.

So Now that time is ticking away way to fast I have started working on the Nursery.

One of My Friends - Becca, threatened me that she had to be the one to help me paint. So of Course I let her. We've have the room picked out for quite some time but the color scheme I couldn't figure out.

I thought let's go Brown. No - How about Red. No - How about blue. No. I really really really like brown. Then I Saw this!

I was Instantly In Love. So precious. How I would love it.

However Not to Be. Mom and Dad gave Justin and I a Congrats "It's A Boy!" After our Ultrasound.

I started thinking OOHH I like that.

My Friend Paige and Family were over for a BSU FootBall Game and of course we were talking Baby and we got on the internet and started browsing. OH MY GOODNESS I couldn't believe the things out there. But we ran across these Photo's and I was done. I knew what I wanted to do.

SOCK MONKEYS!!! I could do Brown Wall's with some of the Red Justin liked and Cream. I got so Excited. I had to Show Mom at first Opportunity.

A few days Later I ordered the Material so I could make my own Crib Quilt. I honestly Hope It fit's. I have it mostly done just needs the finishing Touches.

So The Painting on the Room needed to be started. I decided to go 2 shades of brown. So Here is the Before.

So I Taped off the Windows, Ceiling, and Baseboards

We Started Painting. We went with a Lighter Brown on the Walls with the Windows and Closet. and Went with the Darker Brown on the Full walls.

Well I'll Update with more once the Room is Finished and Assembeled.

Happy 7th Anniversary

So . . . It's been 7 years. Time has flown by so fast. Now I know that I said that last year was the Best Anniversary so far. And at that point it had been.

This year Justin decided to do something Romantic for our Anniversary and totally botched it. He left some information up on MY computer and I saw it. So to make up for spoiling this romantic idea he did something else.

" The Anniversary Fairy"

Who is that you ask? Well he is a Fairy that brings us Deserving Wife's little gifts. Monday 4/11 - Justin and I were getting ready for bed. When I pulled back the sheets inside my pillow was this.

" 7 years down, eternity to go . . . you can do it!!! " With some Candy - Can't go wrong with Candy for me and then a Movie.

So I asked him abotu it and said he had no clue.

Next day ( 4/12 ) I had to work the late shift at work. When I got off on the driver side seat was this:

A Card and a Coupon. The coupon is good for one week free of Chores around the house.

On Wednesday ( 4/13 ) I was going to hang out with one of my good friends and once again on the driver side seat was this:

Another Card and Coupon that is good for "My Husband" taking me on a Chick Flick Movie date and having to keep his "Mouth Shut" before and During the movie.

On Thurday ( 4/14 ) I saw late evening sitting on my computer desk this:

Once again Another Card and this Cd Case. Inside the Cd Case was a Itunes gift card.

Now if that wasn't an awesome Anniversary gift this next part was.

The Surprise - Romantic Idea Justin had for our Anniversary was . . .

A Weekend Getaway in McCall Idaho.

We stayed at The Shore Lodge - and sadly this picture is one I got off the internet cuz I forgot to take a picture of the Lodge. It was not green like that. It was covered in snow.

Our Room was Magnificent. Large and Spacious.

There even was a Separate Room with the TV and 2 Couches.

The Bathroom was Huge and beautiful.

We Even had our own Private Balcony.

It had started to snow when we got up there.

After getting checked in and slightly settled - We were both starving since neither one of us had really eatin that day so we headed out to go eat dinner.

On Our Way out we saw these:

YES! DEER! They were right in the hotel area and just hanging our there.

It was Absolutely Amazing. I have never ever been that close to deer before.

So Anyway - after checking out the deer we headed to "Lardo's Grill and Saloon" They were very very Delicious.

After Dinner we headed to the little market to pick up something deserty and something to drink to celebrate 7 years. After wards we headed back to the hotel to relax.

This is what we decided on. Orange Cream Soda and a MarionBerry type cake. It was good. Silly but fun.

Now since we don't drink coffee we had decided to grab some hot cocoa while at the store. We made up a couple mugs of the cocoa and bundled up and headed out to the balcony where we sat and observed the beauty of the frozen lake and and the snow.

Saturday morning we went to the Pancake House for breakfast.

After eating we went back to the hotel and relaxed almost all day. Watching Tv, ( me ) reading, (Justin) playing computer. It was very relaxing and we just had fun.

For Dinner we Went to "The Mill." We dressed up in to our nice Church clothes and went out.

We decided to Spoil our Selves and both got the Prime Rib. However - Mine was the Small size and Justin's was the Large.

After Eating we went back to the hotel and got on our Bathing Suits and went to the hot tub. It was raining and the hot tub was outside. It was a cold run to the Hot tub but soooo nice once in there. We sat there looking at the Amazing view of the lake.

It was an Amazing Trip. The Best we have taking. It was Fun to just get out of Boise and relax and enjoy each others company. I hope the Next 7 years are as great or even better.

I love my Husband so very very Much.
